Genus Pseudocolochirus
The genus Pseudocolochirus contains stout sea cucumber species with papillae on their upper surface. The tube feet on their lower surface are more or less confined to the ambulacra (Pseudocolochirus axiologus[/l]). [l][m]Glossary[/m][r]Spicule[/r]Spicules are depauperate.
Remarks: Another species P. violaceus from S.E. Asia has been reported - from collections in the British Museum - from northern Australia (Clark and Rowe, 1971).
