Family Psolidae
The Family Psolidae is a group of small mostly inconspicuous sea cucumbers found below rocks. They are characterised by a well developed creeping sole below and conspicuous calcareous plates above. Psolus lacks papillae above; some are present in Psolidium, although they are hard to see.
