A. mauritiana is a sea cucumber with patches of light chestnut brown and white - usually white below (size to 200 mm). It is densely covered with tube feet and has 25 or more tentacles. The spicules include large rough rods (A. mauritiana spicules[/l]). A. mauritiana is found on [l][m]Glossary[/m][r]Reef[/r]reefs in exposed habitats.
