Order Molpadiida
Holothurians with 15 digitate tentacles and stout body, tapering posteriorly to a tail. Tubefeet absent; tentacle ampullae and respiratory trees present. Ossicles may include tables, fusiform rods or perforated plates, and anchors. Molpadiids usually burrow in soft sediment or sand. They extract organic food from the ingested substrate.
