Acaudina leucoprocta

A. leucoprocta is a purple-brown sea cucumber with a white posterior and cloacal lining. It is a medium-sized (100-140 mm), cylindrical species, tapering to a blunt posterior. It has a thick and soft body wall, a smooth or slimy tegument, and 15 tentacles. Spicules are short rods and small perforated plates (A. leucoprocta spicules[/l]). This [l][m]Glossary[/m][r]Species[/r]species has been reported from Western Australia. They are coastal, found intertidally and below, and they live buried in sand or mud.
