Bohadschia graeffei

(Semper, 1868)

B. graeffei is a pale cream-coloured sea cucumber with brown speckling and low papillae. It's a long, large species with with three longitudinal bands of tube feet below. Its tentacles are black with white crowns. Its spicules resemble a somewhat tack-like bundle of spinose rods described as racquet-like by Rowe (1969)(B. graeffei spicules[/l]). They occur on [l][m]Glossary[/m][r]Reef[/r]reefs, exposed on hard subtidal substrates, and are active in daylight.
