Thyone micra

T. micra is a pale brown sea cucumber with darker tentacles. It is a small species (< 20 mm), elongate, cylindrical and tapering. Its spicules are abundant tables, each with a stout elongate disc with 4 holes, and 2 low spires not always touching (Thyone micra spicules[/l]). It may be found buried in sandy mud with [l][m]Glossary[/m][r]Shell[/r]shells, along the Northwest Australian coast.
