P. spinuliferus is a translucent white, (yellow terminally) sea cucumber covered with small scales above. It is a small species (20 mm) with spicules that are spiny, perforated plates ([l]p_spinuliferus_spicules.jpgP. spinuliferus spicules[/l]). It is uncommon, collected near Broome.
