P. (Urodemella) holothurioides is a brown to grey sea cucumber. It is a small (25-75 mm), firm species, with scattered tube feet, and 20 tentacles in two rings. Spicules are reduced tables, and thorny plates ([l]p_holothurioides_spicules.jpgP. holothurioides spicules[/l]). It has been found in dredged samples.
